Borlase has more than 20 years of technical and business experience in the electric utility T&D industry, including leadership positions in sales, business development, marketing, product development, engineering, and consulting. He previously worked as business development director responsible for strategic direction, leadership, and growth in the development and deployment of GE Energy’s global smart grid solutions. Borlase received his Master of Engineering and Doctor of Engineering degrees in electrical engineering from Texas A&M University. He is a senior member of the IEEE and a registered professional engineer.
